I qualified in 2015 and opened a private practice in Consett in 2018 and I am accredited by the National Counselling Society. I have experience of work in a range of areas including anxiety /depression/trauma/gender dysmorphia/ neuro- diversity/ stress
Qualified Supervisor
Dip0loma in Supervision. I am a qualified supervisor and support a number of both qualified and student counsellors. I believe that supportive and good supervision is the cornerstone of good practice
Neuro -Linguistic Programming Practitioner
I qualified as a neuro- linguistic practitioner in 2010 and i have used the skills to work very successfully with anxiety and trauma clients.
Qualified Mediator.
I qualified as a workplace mediator in 2014 and have worked with individuals and groups in organisations. I also have qualifications in managing stress and bullying and often work with organisations and workplaces of all sizes to help address some of these issues
Diploma in Continuing Education and Professional Development
I qualified in the above in 1992 and have worked successfully with many clients as a professional development mentor and life coach, helping clients to work through life and career changes.
MBA Masters in Business
I completed a masters degree in 2000 and have used this to build a successful private practice in the North East
Schema Therapy/ EMDR therapy
I have undertaken additional training in both Schema Therapy and EMDR and offer both types of therapies.
